Polychromos artists' colour pencils have particularly soft waterproof wax leads. Their smoothness and resistance to smudging makes them a pleasure to use. Polychromos pencils oil base makes them especially suitable for work on vellum and parchments
The leads are not brittle, and can be sharpened to a very fine point; this allows you to draw filigree detail as well as cover extended areas completely with colour.
The excellent covering power of Polychromos artists' colour pencils means that they can be used on a wide variety of materials such as paper, card, wood, or even fabrics.

Faber Castell polychromos individual pencils
Excellent pencils, sharpen well and are good for blending, would have given 5 stars but they do tend to smudge even though they are advertised as smudge proof . Very quick delivery, thank you.

fanastic quality pencils
I cannot recommend FC Polychromo pencils enough - they are in a league of their own. I use these regular and love how they blend / shade / look on paper. This site is amazing with the range of colours offered and even better that I am able to purchase individual pencils and build up the collection of colours that I need. Don't hesitate in buying - both the site and pencils are both amazing and I most definitely will return regular without hesitation.
